ELD Rider provides electronic logging device and fleet management solutions for tracking driver hours of service and vehicle locations. This integration allows Alvys to pull real-time location data and driver HOS information from ELD Rider, giving you visibility in dispatch planning and on the Asset Map.
To get started, you'll need an API key from ELD Rider, then configure the integration in Alvys and map your assets and drivers.
Getting your ELD Rider API key
Before you can connect ELD Rider to Alvys, you'll need to obtain an API key.
You can either generate the API key directly from your ELD Rider platform, or contact your ELD Rider representative and request the API key. Once you have it, you're ready to configure Alvys.
Setting up the integration in Alvys
Once you have your API key, you're ready to configure ELD Rider in Alvys.
Navigate to Company Profile by clicking your profile icon in the lower left corner, then select the subsidiary you want to configure and click the Integrations tab.
Expand the ELD section and click the pencil icon on the ELD Rider card.

Enter your ELD Rider API Key and click Save.
Alvys will validate your credentials. If everything looks good, the integration will be active.
Mapping assets for location tracking
Now that the integration is configured, you need to tell Alvys which ELD Rider asset ID corresponds to each truck or trailer.
Go to Assets in the left menu and select Trucks or Trailers.
Double-click the asset you want to configure, then scroll down to the ELD Integrations section and click Add Integration.
Select ELD Rider from the dropdown, enter the ELD Rider asset ID (this should be the truck or trailer number as registered in ELD Rider) in the Integration ID field, and click Save.
Repeat this process for each truck or trailer you want to track with ELD Rider.
Mapping drivers for HOS tracking
To view driver hours of service in loads and the Dispatch Planner, you need to map each driver to their ELD Rider driver ID.
Note: If you need help retrieving ELD Rider driver IDs, contact Alvys support at [email protected].
Go to Assets in the left menu and select Drivers.
Double-click the driver you want to configure, then find the ELD Providers section and click Add ELD.
Select ELD Rider from the dropdown, enter the ELD Rider driver ID, and click Save.
