👤 Who is this for? Admin, Operations Manager, Dispatcher

⏱️ Estimated time: 15 minutes

Thermo King ConnectedSuite Telematics provides real-time location and temperature monitoring for refrigerated trailers. This integration allows Alvys to automatically pull location data and operating mode information from your Thermo King-equipped trailers, giving you live visibility on the Asset Map and in dispatch planning.

To get started, you'll need API credentials from Thermo King, then configure the integration in Alvys and map your trailers.

Getting your Thermo King credentials

Before you can connect Thermo King to Alvys, you'll need to request API credentials from Thermo King support.

Contact Thermo King at [email protected] and request REST API credentials. They'll provide you with three pieces of information:

  • External Customer ID

  • Username

  • Password

Keep these credentials handy for the next step.

Setting up the integration in Alvys

Once you have your credentials, you're ready to configure Thermo King in Alvys.

Navigate to Company Profile by clicking your profile icon in the lower left corner, then select the subsidiary you want to configure and click the Integrations tab.

Expand the ELD section and click the pencil icon on the Thermo King card.

Enter your Thermo King External Customer ID, Username, and Password, then click Save.

Alvys will validate your credentials. If everything looks good, the integration will be active.

Mapping trailers for location and temperature tracking

Now that the integration is configured, you need to tell Alvys which Thermo King asset ID corresponds to each trailer.

Go to Assets in the left menu and select Trailers.

Double-click the trailer you want to configure, then scroll down to the ELD Integrations section and click Add Integration.

Select Thermo King from the dropdown.

Enter the Thermo King trailer number (the trailer number as it appears in Thermo King) in the Integration ID field and click Save.

Repeat this process for each trailer you want to track with Thermo King. Once configured, you can view real-time locations and temperature data on the Asset Map.
