Upgraded User Management and Sign-In Experience
User Roles with Access:
All Alvys Users: Will experience the new sign-in flow (login, password reset, organization selection) and the one-time Terms & Conditions agreement.
Admin, Partner Admin, Support: Will utilize the new user creation and management flows.
Alvys Implementation & Support: Involved in initial tenant creation.

Creating a New User
Administrators can add new users to their account.
Step 1: Navigate to User Management
Log in to Alvys at app.alvys.com
Go to Company Profile.
Click on the "Users" tab.
Step 2: Initiate User Creation
Click the "Add User" button.
Enter the user's Name.
Enter their Email address (this will also be their username)
A randomized password will be automatically generated for this new user.
Step 3: Select Role and Office & Configure Additional Settings
Choose the user's Role
Select their associated Office
Review and configure any other settings such as e-check settings or permissions for the user.
Step 4: Add User
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Add User.”
Step 5: Email Notification
The user whose account was created will receive an email notification (check spam folder if not immediately visible).
This email contains a link to the sign-in page, allowing them to log in with their username (email) and the temporary password.
Managing User Profiles
Administrators can edit user details but are not authorized to reset passwords.
Step 1: Navigate to User Management
Go to Company Profile.
Click the "Users" tab.
You will see a list of users with their name, role, email, and status.
Step 2: Open User Profile
Double-click on any row in the users list to open that user's profile for editing.
Step 3: Update Phone Number (Optional)
Click on the "Phone" field to type in a phone number, then click save.
Step 4: Update Primary Email / Username
Click on the "Primary Email / Username" field.
Type in the new email address.
Click "Save" to apply the change, or "Cancel" to discard.
Step 5: Notify User to Reset Password
Inform the user to use the password reset process available on the login page.
The New Sign-In Experience
The sign-in experience has been updated for all users.
Step 1. Access Sign-In Page
You will continue to seamlessly navigate to the Alvys login page app.alvys.com
Step 2. Enter Credentials
Enter your Username (which is your email address).
Enter your Password (the temporary one for new users, or your established one).
Step 3: Log In
Click "Log In."
Step 4: Select Organization (if applicable)
If you are associated with more than one organization/tenant, you will be directed to a "Select Organization" screen.
Important Note: Currently, there is no search box on this "Select Organization" page. You will need to scroll through the list to find your desired tenant.
Step 5: Access Home Screen
Select the tenant you wish to work in.
You will be logged in and taken directly to the Alvys home screen.
New Terms & Conditions Agreement
👋 We've updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy as of July 11, 2025. Users are now required to agree to our Terms & Conditions when logging in.
Prompt Displayed to Users first time logging in:
To use our services, both new and existing users must accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Please review the terms, which apply to all users, and agree to continue or maintain access.
User must click the checkbox next to I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy and then click the continue button.
Why Did It Change?
To ensure a secure and compliant experience for all our users. By having a formal agreement to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, we enhance the protection of your data and ensure clarity on how our platform can be used. This change helps us maintain a reliable and trustworthy service as Alvys continues to grow and evolve to better serve your needs.

Forgot Password Flow
If you forget your password, you can reset it.
Step 1: Access Sign-In Page
Go to the Alvys login page.
Step 2: Click "Forgot Password"
Locate and click the "Forgot password" link.
Step 3: Enter Username
Enter your username (which is your email address).
Click "Continue."
Step 4: Check Email for Instructions
Instructions to reset your password will be sent to your email address.
Click the provided URL in the email to complete the password change process.
💡 Administrators are not currently able to adjust password settings for users or send password reset links. This was previously available functionality and may be added back in the future. In the meantime, please encourage users to self-service when needing to reset their password.
Switching Organizations (Multi-Tenant Users)
For users who have access to multiple organizations/tenants, you can switch between them without logging out and back in.
Step 1: Locate Tenant Selector
From any page in Alvys, go to the upper left corner of the screen.
You will see the currently active tenant's name and ID.
Step 2: Open Tenant List
Click the small up and down arrows next to the tenant name.
This will reveal a list of all organizations you have access to.
Step 3: Search for Tenant
A search box is available at the top of this list. Type the name of the tenant you wish to switch to.
Step 4: Switch Tenant
Select the desired tenant from the filtered list.
Alvys will switch you to that tenant's context without requiring a full logout/login.
