Overview
Use the QuikQ (Love's) integration to automatically import Love's fuel transactions into Alvys.
Transactions are imported daily at 1 AM and 2 AM Eastern Time.
Before you start
Request API access from QuikQ
Before you can set up the integration in Alvys, you need API permissions added to your QuikQ user profile.
Email [email protected] and request that API permission be added to your user profile. Be sure to specify which user profile needs the permission. Complete this step before attempting to set up the integration in Alvys.
Step-by-step instructions
Activate the QuikQ integration in Alvys
Once you have API access, configure the integration in Alvys:
Open the Integrations page (click your username in the bottom left corner, then select Integrations).
Select the subsidiary you want to connect.
Expand the Fuel category.
Open the QuikQ/Love's integration (gray pencil icon).
Enter your credentials, then click Save.
Start Code: This is your carrier ID from within the Love's portal.
Username and Password: These are the credentials you use to log into the Love's QuikQ portal.
Add fuel card numbers to driver profiles
For Alvys to properly attribute fuel transactions to drivers, you need to add Love's fuel card numbers to each driver profile.
Find the Assets option on the Alvys toolbar, then select Drivers. Find and double-click a driver from the list to edit their profile.
In the first section of the driver profile, find and select the plus sign to the right of Fuel Card Numbers.
In the pop-up window, add the fuel card number, fuel card provider (Love’s Fuel), and then select the applicable checkboxes if you want to deduct fuel or if fuel is discounted.
Ensure that you enter the remaining six (6) digits of the fuel card number.
Click the blue Save button.
Fuel transactions are automatically imported at 1 AM and 2 AM Eastern Time each day.
FAQs
Why do I need API permission before setting up the integration?
API permission is required for Alvys to connect to your QuikQ account and retrieve transaction data. Without it, the integration won't be able to authenticate and import fuel data.
Do I enter the full fuel card number or just part of it?
Enter only the last six (6) digits of the fuel card number when adding it to a driver's profile in Alvys.
How often do fuel transactions import?
Transactions are automatically imported twice daily at 1 AM and 2 AM Eastern Time.
What if a driver's fuel transactions aren't showing up?
Verify that you've entered the correct last 6 digits of their fuel card number and that Love's Fuel is selected as the provider in their driver profile.
