How to Send the Rate Confirmation to a Carrier

Learn how to send the rate confirmation to carriers for signing and automatically assign driver details to the load.

To send the rate confirmation to a carrier

  1. Build the Load: Ensure the load details are complete and ready to be sent.

  2. Click 'Tender': Locate the 'Tender' button in the management ribbon.

  3. Generate the Rate Confirmation:

Click the 'Generate' drop-down menu.

Select 'Carrier Rate Confirmation' from the options.

  1. Email the Carrier: Once generated, you can email the rate confirmation to the carrier.

    What Happens Next:

    • The carrier will receive a link to either accept or reject the rate confirmation.

    • They can provide the driver details, which will be automatically assigned to the load.

    • Once signed, both the carrier and broker will receive an email copy of the signed rate confirmation for their records.

This ensures a smooth and efficient process for confirming rates and finalizing driver details.

💡 Note: The carrier rate confirmation expires within 48 hours of it being sent.

To send the preliminary rate confirmation to a carrier:

  1. Build the Load: Ensure the load details are complete and ready to be sent.

  2. Click 'Tender': Locate the 'Tender' button in the management ribbon.

Click the 'Generate' drop-down menu.

Select 'Preliminary Carrier Rate Confirmation' from the options.

  1. Email the Carrier: Once generated, you can email the rate confirmation to the carrier.

    What Happens Next:

    • The carrier will receive a link to either accept or reject the preliminary rate confirmation.

    • Selective Data Sharing: The preliminary document only shows essential details like the lane (city, state), rate, equipment type, and commodity. All sensitive information (full addresses, exact times, etc.) is hidden.

    • Automated Workflow: Once the preliminary document is signed, the system automatically generates and sends the full version without any manual action required.

💡 Note: The carrier rate confirmation expires within 48 hours of it being sent.
