If you're encountering an override authorization error when assigning a carrier, it means that the carrier is not certified by RMIS.
Additionally, the ability to manage such assignments relies on role-based permissions, emphasizing the importance of Admin interventions when necessary.
Our system requires carriers to be approved in RMIS before they can be assigned to a load. If a carrier is not certified, only users with admin access or support assistance can override this restriction.
Administrators can also assign carriers directly in exceptional cases and grant the necessary permissions to other users when needed.
How to Resolve It
Exception Scenarios in Carrier Assignments
For unique scenarios such as carriers without MC numbers, follow these steps to ensure successful assignment:
Use placeholder MC or DOT numbers.
Ensure Admin approval or intervention where necessary.
These measures enable assignment while maintaining compliance.
To assign the carrier without support intervention, the best solution is to ensure the carrier is certified in RMIS. Once certification is complete, the system will allow assignments as expected.
If you lack the required permissions, contact an Admin user who can either assist with the assignment or grant you the necessary access.
If immediate assignment is necessary, an Admin user can override the restriction by assigning the carrier directly or by providing the permissions required for you to do so. In cases involving carriers without MC numbers, placeholder details such as '1111111' can be used in the carrier profile, but Admin intervention will often be required to bypass system checks for these scenarios.
If you need further assistance, feel free to contact support.
