Releasing a Load to Billing

Releasing the load from Dispatcher's hands and passing to the Accounting team.

Written by Ryan Duffy

Overview

Once a load has been marked as Delivered in the system, the next critical step is to release it to billing. This ensures your accounting team can begin processing the load for invoicing, payment, and any other post-delivery workflows.

How It Works

You can release loads in two ways:

🔹 Individually Open a specific load, then click Manage > Release. This is useful when handling one load at a time, especially if you want to double-check documents or charges before sending it to billing.

🔹 In Bulk Head over to the Invoicing page, then click on the Incomplete tab. This tab shows all Delivered loads that haven’t been released yet. From here, you can select one or more loads and move them to the Released tab—as long as all required information is complete.

Once a load is released, your accounting team can begin working on it immediately—reviewing charges, attaching documents, and generating the invoice.
