How do I set up the RMIS integration?
RMIS allows you to validate carrier compliance without leaving Alvys. You can view carrier safety ratings, insurance, and authority information, and the integration automatically imports carrier certification status and payment methods.
Who should do this? Office managers or administrators responsible for carrier compliance and onboarding.
Request integration credentials from TSI
Before you can set up the integration in Alvys, you need API credentials from TSI.
Send a request to TSI at [email protected] asking them to provide account integration credentials. Once you receive these credentials, you can proceed with the setup in Alvys.
Configure the RMIS integration in Alvys
Once you have your credentials from TSI, you'll enter them into Alvys to establish the connection.
Navigate to Integrations in Alvys. Find the RMIS integration in the Compliance section and click the pencil icon to open the configuration settings.

Enter your Client ID and Password (provided by RMIS/TSI), then select which subsidiaries should use the integration. Click Save to complete the setup.
Test and activate the integration
After setting up the integration, you should test it to ensure data is syncing properly.
Update a carrier in RMIS and wait 10 minutes to see if the carrier is added or updated in Alvys. This confirms the integration is working correctly.
Once the integration is active, send an additional email to [email protected] requesting that all existing carriers be pushed to the Delta overnight. This will import all your existing RMIS carriers into Alvys.

What data is imported
The integration imports the following carrier information from RMIS:
Carrier profile
Name
MC and DOT number
Address
Contact information
Insurance coverage
Coverage type
Policy number
Issue and expiration dates
Limit amount
Underwriter (insurance agency)
W9 information
SSN (where available)
TIN (where available)
Pay-to information
Factoring company (if IsFactoring is true)
Pay-to name and address
Important note about pay-to information: Pay-to data is only imported if the carrier is being imported into Alvys for the first time. If the carrier was manually created in Alvys or is being updated, payment information is not imported and must be manually updated in Alvys.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take for carrier updates to sync?
After updating a carrier in RMIS, wait approximately 10 minutes for the changes to appear in Alvys.
What happens to carriers I created manually in Alvys?
If a carrier already exists in Alvys when you set up RMIS, their profile will be updated with compliance data, but payment information will not be overwritten. You'll need to update payment details manually if needed.
Why do I need to request a Delta push from TSI?
The Delta push ensures all your existing RMIS carriers are imported into Alvys overnight. Without this step, only new or updated carriers will sync going forward.
Can I see safety ratings directly in Alvys?
Yes, once the integration is active, you can view carrier safety ratings, insurance, and authority information directly from the carrier profile in Alvys without switching to RMIS.
