Track your freight with confidence using the Trucker Tools integration. This partnership gives brokers real-time visibility into every shipment, helping you accurately match freight with trucks and keep operations running smoothly from pickup to delivery.

Log into your Alvys account and click on your user profile in the bottom left corner. Select EDI & Visibility from the menu. You'll see a list of available integrations divided into EDI Tenders and Visibility sections.

Find Trucker Tools under the Visibility section and choose which subsidiary you want to enable this feature for. Enter the Trucker Tools credentials you obtained beforehand. The system will verify your credentials and activate the integration once confirmed.

In the Trucker Tools integration window, you'll find URLs that need to be configured in your Trucker Tools Company Preferences. These webhooks allow Trucker Tools to send tracking data back to Alvys.

The URLs follow this format: Location Updates at https://api.alvys.com/api/truckerTools/locationUpdates/XXXXX and Order Status at https://api.alvys.com/api/truckerTools/statusUpdates/XXXXX, where XXXXX is your Alvys Tenant ID.

Send these URLs to your Trucker Tools representative at [email protected] and [email protected], then wait for confirmation that the webhooks have been installed.

To begin tracking a load, open the load details page and navigate to the Load Tracking tab. Make sure the load has an assigned carrier before initiating tracking.

Review the pre-filled tracking settings that appear based on your previous preferences and the load specifics. Make any necessary adjustments to match your current tracking needs, then confirm to start tracking the load.

If you need to update or disable a tracking request, navigate to the Load Tracking tab in the load details page. You'll find options to edit or disable the tracking request for Trucker Tools.

Your tracking request automatically updates in Trucker Tools when there are changes to the stop company name, coordinates, address, appointment time, or driver's phone number. Adding a new stop or splitting a trip will also trigger an update.

The tracking request will automatically disable in Trucker Tools if you remove the assigned carrier from the load. This ensures your tracking information stays accurate and reflects the current status of your loads.

With the Trucker Tools integration, you can track your drivers' locations in real-time right from the Trip Location Tracking section in Alvys. This gives you the precision you need to monitor freight movements and keep your customers informed with accurate, up-to-date shipment information.
