SkyBitz is a telematics solution that provides real-time GPS tracking and asset monitoring. This integration allows Alvys to automatically pull location data from your SkyBitz-equipped trucks and trailers, giving you live visibility on the Asset Map and in dispatch planning.
To get started, you'll need API credentials from SkyBitz, then configure the integration in Alvys and map your assets.
Getting your SkyBitz credentials
Before you can connect SkyBitz to Alvys, you'll need to request API credentials from SkyBitz support.
Contact SkyBitz at [email protected] and request your Client ID and Secret. Keep these credentials handy for the next step.
Setting up the integration in Alvys
Once you have your credentials, you're ready to configure SkyBitz in Alvys.
Navigate to Company Profile by clicking your profile icon in the lower left corner, then select the subsidiary you want to configure and click the Integrations tab.
Expand the ELD section and click the pencil icon on the SkyBitz card.

Enter your SkyBitz Client ID and Secret, then click Save.
Alvys will validate your credentials. If everything looks good, the integration will be active.
Mapping assets for location tracking
Now that the integration is configured, you need to tell Alvys which SkyBitz unit number corresponds to each truck or trailer.
Go to Assets in the left menu and select Trucks or Trailers.
Double-click the asset you want to configure, then scroll down to the ELD Integrations section and click Add Integration.
Select SkyBitz from the dropdown, enter the SkyBitz unit number in the Integration ID field, and click Save.
Repeat this process for each truck or trailer you want to track with SkyBitz. Once configured, you can view real-time locations on the Asset Map.
