KSK ELD is an electronic logging device solution that tracks driver hours of service and vehicle locations. This integration allows Alvys to pull real-time location data and driver HOS information from KSK ELD, giving you visibility in dispatch planning and on the Asset Map.
To get started, you'll generate an API token from your KSK ELD account, then configure the integration in Alvys and map your assets and drivers.
Generating your KSK ELD API token
Before you can connect KSK ELD to Alvys, you'll need to generate an API token from within your KSK ELD account.
Log into your KSK ELD account and navigate to Management → API Tokens.
Click Generate Token.

Enter a token name (for example, "Alvys Integration") and click OK.

The page will refresh and display your new integration token. Copy this token for the next step.
Setting up the integration in Alvys
Once you have your API token, you're ready to configure KSK ELD in Alvys.
Navigate to Company Profile by clicking your profile icon in the lower left corner, then select the subsidiary you want to configure and click the Integrations tab.
Expand the ELD section and click the pencil icon on the KSK ELD card.
Enter your KSK ELD API Token and click Save.

Alvys will validate your credentials. If everything looks good, the integration will be active.
Mapping assets for location tracking
Now that the integration is configured, you need to tell Alvys which KSK ELD asset ID corresponds to each truck or trailer.
Go to Assets in the left menu and select Trucks or Trailers.
Double-click the asset you want to configure, then scroll down to the ELD Integrations section and click Add Integration.
Select KSK ELD from the dropdown.
To find your KSK ELD asset ID, open the asset in your KSK ELD platform and look at the URL. For example, if the URL is app.kskeld.com/client/vehicle/25236, the asset ID is 25236.
Enter the asset ID in the Integration ID field and click Save.
Repeat this process for each truck or trailer you want to track with KSK ELD.
Mapping drivers for HOS tracking
To view driver hours of service in loads and the Dispatch Planner, you need to map each driver to their KSK ELD driver ID.
Go to Assets in the left menu and select Drivers.
Double-click the driver you want to configure, then find the ELD Providers section and click Add ELD.
Select KSK from the dropdown.
To find your KSK ELD driver ID, go to your Drivers page in KSK ELD and click Edit on the corresponding driver.

Look at the URL in your browser. For example, if the URL is app.kskeld.com/client/driver/25236/details, the driver ID is 25236.

Enter the driver ID in the Integration ID field and click Save. Repeat this process for each driver who uses KSK ELD for their hours of service.
FAQ
Where do I find my KSK ELD asset and driver IDs?
The easiest way is to look at the URL when viewing or editing an asset or driver in your KSK ELD platform. The ID is the number in the URL path.
Can I track both assets and driver HOS?
Yes, KSK ELD supports both asset location tracking and driver hours of service tracking in Alvys.
What happens if I enter invalid credentials?
As of February 2025, Alvys validates credentials before saving, so you'll see an error immediately if your API token is incorrect.
