Overview

The EDI Tender Auto-Acceptance feature automates the process of accepting load tenders received via EDI, eliminating the need for manual intervention on every incoming tender. This is particularly helpful when dealing with high volumes of tenders, leading to significant time savings, increased productivity, and improved customer satisfaction.

How Auto-Acceptance Works

Auto-acceptance is configured at the company level and requires both an active EDI integration and a default fleet to be set up. Once enabled, tenders that meet your lane-defined criteria will be automatically imported and used to build loads.

Tenders with matching zip-to-zip lane definitions are accepted automatically, while those that don't meet your criteria remain on the Tenders board for manual review. If a location is unknown during the auto-acceptance process, you'll be prompted to select a location or company profile before the load can be dispatched.

Set Up Auto-Acceptance

First, make sure the customer has an active EDI integration in place. Navigate to Management and locate the desired customer under EDI & Visibility to verify the integration is active.

Once the integration is confirmed, the auto-acceptance toggle will appear on the Company Details page. However, it cannot be enabled until you select a default fleet from the available options.

On the Company Details page, set up the Default Fleet field by choosing from the suggested list. Once a default fleet is set, you can turn the auto-acceptance toggle on or off as needed.

Once auto-accept tender is turned on, qualifying tenders will be automatically accepted and converted to loads without any manual action required.

Handle Auto-Acceptance Errors

In cases where auto-acceptance fails, the tender will not be accepted and will be flagged in red on your Tenders board. Error messages and banners provide clear details about the issue, making it easier to resolve problems efficiently.

To resolve auto-acceptance errors, access the Tenders board and apply a filter for the Auto-Acceptance Error flag. From there, you can manually review each flagged tender and accept or reject the load as needed.
