Verizon Connect (formerly Fleetmatics) is a fleet management platform that provides vehicle tracking and driver hours of service monitoring. This integration allows Alvys to pull real-time location data and driver HOS information from Verizon Connect Reveal, giving you visibility in dispatch planning and on the Asset Map.

To get started, you'll create a Reveal Integration User from the Verizon Connect Marketplace, then configure the integration in Alvys and map your assets and drivers.

Creating a Reveal Integration User

Before you can connect Verizon Connect to Alvys, you'll need to create a Reveal Integration User through the Verizon Connect Marketplace.

The credentials for your Reveal Integration User will be sent to the developer email address you provided and to the user who initiated the request. You'll need these credentials to activate the integration in Alvys.

Example credentials:

Setting up the integration in Alvys

Once you have your Reveal Integration User credentials, you're ready to configure Verizon Connect in Alvys.

Navigate to Company Profile by clicking your profile icon in the lower left corner, then select the subsidiary you want to configure and click the Integrations tab.

Expand the ELD section and click the pencil icon on the Verizon Connect card.

Enter your Verizon Connect Username and Password (from the Reveal Integration User), then click Save.

Alvys will validate your credentials. If everything looks good, the integration will be active.

Mapping trucks for location tracking

Now that the integration is configured, you need to tell Alvys which Verizon Connect vehicle number corresponds to each truck.

Important: The vehicle numbers you enter in Alvys must exactly match what's listed on the Fleet Summary Report from your Verizon Connect portal.

Go to Assets in the left menu and select Trucks.

Double-click the truck you want to configure, then scroll down to the ELD Integrations section and click Add Integration.

Select Verizon Connect from the dropdown, enter the vehicle number (as shown in your Fleet Summary Report) in the Integration ID field, and click Save.

Repeat this process for each truck you want to track with Verizon Connect.

Mapping drivers for HOS tracking

To view driver hours of service in loads and the Dispatch Planner, you need to map each driver to their Verizon Connect driver number.

Important: The driver numbers you enter in Alvys must exactly match what's listed on the ELD Drivers Report from your Verizon Connect portal.

Go to Assets in the left menu and select Drivers.

Double-click the driver you want to configure, then find the ELD Providers section and click Add ELD.

Select Verizon Connect from the dropdown, enter the driver number (as shown in your ELD Drivers Report) in the Integration ID field, and click Save.

Repeat this process for each driver who uses Verizon Connect for their hours of service.
