Overview

If you have completed setup for the MacroPoint Inbound integration and enabled tracking on a load but you are not seeing tracking data flow into Alvys, this guide explains what to expect and what to check first.

What the integration does

When MacroPoint Inbound is configured and enabled at the load level, Alvys will automatically process:

  • Tracking status updates

  • Live location updates

  • Arrival and departure timestamps

  • Trip status changes based on arrival and departure events

Updates are expected to appear in the Load Board, Load Details, and Logs in Alvys.

Step-by-step instructions

Troubleshoot missing tracking data

Check webhook setup

Confirm webhooks have been configured correctly in the MacroPoint portal. Without webhooks, Alvys cannot receive data from MacroPoint.

Enable tracking on the load

Even with the integration active, tracking must be enabled on each load.

Wait for events to trigger

Updates only flow once MacroPoint detects relevant events such as stop arrivals or departures. If the truck has not moved or reached a checkpoint, there may be no data yet.

Refresh and recheck

Sometimes data appears with a delay. If tracking was working and then stopped after refreshing, confirm tracking is still active on the driver side and collect screenshots or recordings.

Look for validation errors

If there are errors with incoming data (for example malformed timestamps or location mismatches), certain updates can fail. If in doubt, escalate to support.

FAQs

How long does it take for tracking data to appear?

Data appears once MacroPoint detects a relevant location event.

Do I need to enable tracking on every load?

Yes. Tracking must be enabled per load.

What if tracking was working and then stopped?

Confirm tracking is still active, collect screenshots, and contact support.
