Before you start
Create FleetPulse API credentials
Before you can connect FleetPulse to Alvys, you'll need to set up API access through FleetPulse.
Log into your FleetPulse account and create a new standard user. This user will be dedicated exclusively for API access.
Contact your FleetPulse representative and request that this new user be upgraded for API access.
Important: The user must be explicitly enabled for API access. Without this step, the credentials may expire over time, causing the integration to fail. API-enabled users have long-term, stable access and ensure uninterrupted data flow into Alvys.
Once the user is upgraded, you'll receive a username and password. Keep these credentials handy for the next step.
Step-by-step instructions
Activate the integration in Alvys
Once you have your credentials, you're ready to configure FleetPulse in Alvys.
Navigate to Company Profile by clicking your profile icon in the lower left corner, then select the subsidiary you want to configure and click the Integrations tab.
Expand the ELD section and click the pencil icon on the FleetPulse card.
Enter your FleetPulse Username and Password, select the subsidiaries that should use this integration, then click Save.
Alvys will validate your credentials. If everything looks good, the integration will be active.
Map trailers for location tracking
Now that the integration is configured, you need to tell Alvys which FleetPulse Unit ID corresponds to each trailer.
Go to Assets in the left menu and select Trailers.
Double-click the trailer you want to configure, then scroll down to the ELD Integrations section and click Add Integration.
Select FleetPulse from the dropdown, enter the FleetPulse Unit ID in the Integration ID field, and click Save.
Click Update Trailer to save your changes. Repeat this process for each trailer you want to track with FleetPulse.
Once configured, you can view real-time trailer locations on the Asset Map and monitor fleet movement without leaving the Alvys platform.
